Cold brew sounds fancy, but it’s actually one of the easiest coffees to make at home.

What you need

  • 50 g coarsely ground coffee
  • 500 ml cold or room-temperature water
  • Ice, for serving

How to make it

Add the coffee to a jar or large bottle and pour in the water. Stir gently to make sure all the grounds are wet.

Cover and leave in the fridge for 12–16 hours.

Strain the coffee through a paper filter or fine-mesh strainer, then pour over ice.

That’s it. No fancy equipment, no complicated technique — just good coffee and a little patience.
